Every other blocker has an off switch you control. This one does not, and that is the entire point.

    Pick your poison

    Choose the apps that eat your day. TikTok, Instagram, X, whatever you keep opening without deciding to. LockIn blocks them at the OS level with Apple Screen Time. No VPN to switch off, no setting to quietly undo.

    Make the pact

    Send a code to one to three friends. That is the whole product: you cannot lock in alone. Your streak is visible to them, and theirs to you.

    Ask permission

    Want an app back before the timer is up? You do not get to decide. You send a request, and it lands on your friends' phones with your excuse attached.

    Live with the verdict

    They approve, or they deny. That is the moment the whole thing turns on: the pause where you have to explain yourself to someone who knows you.

Your streak, your pact and your pending requests sit on one screen, visible to everyone who holds your key. Being seen is the mechanic willpower cannot fake.

It is loudest right after you have failed and quietest at 1am. A friend holding the key does not negotiate with you at 1am.

Blocking that blocks

LockIn uses Apple's FamilyControls, not a VPN profile. There is no toggle buried in Settings that hands the app back.

Not another accountability app

Not a coach, not a robot, not a subscription that emails you a chart. The people who will bring it up at dinner.
